Tulip Festival:
Ann and her beady little eyes.
Italian gardens and ham.
Daffodils and ham.
Windmills and ham.
Ann turns one:
Yes, I'm cute. Thanks for noticing.
Go ahead and nuzzle. You know you want to.
Red velvet cake with fluffy white frosting (made for maximum visual impact--heh heh)
Gross. Seriously, dude. Gross.
Summer Sidewalk Chalk:
Zee artiste at worke. Observe zee technique.
I guess she likes my work (which part is head and which part is ponytail?)
I'm the only normal one; you can see that, right?
Nothing gets between us me and the basket...except a crazy girl on roller skates.
Summer at Thanksgiving Point Gardens:
My beautiful girls (guess what's behind them!)
The largest manmade waterfall in the U.S. (and a performing stage where they have a summer concert series-awesome)
Entrance to the secret garden.
Getting closer...
Made it!
Our favorite corner.
Can I live here, please?
Another Day.
The Rose Garden and a cowboy hat.
Daniel may actually be impressed.
A perfect place for the telling of secrets.
"I'm tired, Mom."
Haircuts!

Yes, it's a Quarterly Update...try not to faint.
I love when Wills dresses himself.
I'm pretty sure he's wearing girl pants there...and my pants are too short--we're a good match.
"Mom, look, I'm a chicken!"
"Mom, I'm wiping my sad raindrops." There's no better place to wipe one's tears than on Mother's skirt. This was Easter dinner with Dan's whole family plus my parents and Bonnie's family and her in-laws. It was CRAZY and people stayed until TEN O'CLOCK, but it was a lot of fun even though it was too much for Will.
Easter morning.
Housekeeping tip: Green tissue instead of the horrendous plastic grass!
Old school cupcakes (very important) and chocolate cake.
Yeah, that finger took advantage of the fact the I was busy taking pictures.
Cowgirl Ann.
Baking night with neighborhood kids: Carmel sauce, cupcakes, tarts, ham and cheese rolls, cake.
They also did Playdoh pictionary: Daniel made a DNA strand and Jane made a bowling lane...the heck?
Another family dinner but with the cousins my age on my mom's side and their families (we get together once a month!). William sits with Bonnie's little girl, Gloria.
Ann's favorite place in the house.
Ann's second favorite place in the house (I'm wearing those same short pants!).
Jane says bananas are the devil.
A good soldier always wears his helmet (or easter bucket) to bed.
Me and my homegirl Susie Wunderli (reunited after fifteen years, thanks to Facebook!). We lived on the same lane growing up and, wow, she is one of the most fun and awesome people I know. Our first date in January and then one just last week.
My Libbygirl.
I don't know if this is a classic homeschool scenario or not, but doing math while holding a baby is pretty awesome. Hey, check out my valentine decorations (don't worry, I took them down well before St. Patrick's Day).
My Balentime's flowers.
THE END!

About Me
- Kim
- KIM: If they made a movie of my life it would be called "Revenge of the Cat People". A younger Sophia Loren would play me, obviously.
